Ich brauche Hilfe für eine fehlerhafte Datei - cristi_r - 08.05.2007
Ich habe eine fehlerhafte cdr Datei (CorelDraw X3). Heute Abend habe ich sie in normaler Zustand geschlossen, aber heute, als ich versucht habe sie zu öffnen, war bloß eine leere Seite verfügbar. Die Datei hat 3,5 Mb, als ob sie die urspüngliche, normale Datei wäre.
Glaubt ihr, dass es eine Chance besteht das ich meine Datei wiederherstelle?

(Für eine Antwort in der Englischen Sprache wäre ich dankbar, da ich eigentlich kein Deutsch spreche).

could it be, that your file has a couple of pages? i know this sounds silly, but one thing is telling, that you still got the 3.5 mb.
i had a thought about it, so e.g.: you have 2 pages; page one has your drawing, page two is blanc, you saved your file and closed it. you open the file and page 2 shows up - blanc -.
or how about zooming in/out, etc.?

nope...nothing like that...
there were many pages in the file...
u know how in explorer the icon of the file is a thumbnail of the first page, well, now it has the icon of a normal cdr file (that green background with a pencil).
i had this problem once and i had to redo my entire work...i was hopping now i wouldn't have to.
so...any new ideeas?

check out the place where Corel saves thew security copies. if u find a file in similar size u may be lucky. what about the copy Corel makes while every saving? u should have the last instance of this file?

i don't know where corel saves it's security copies.
About the backup corel makes...it was corrupted as well!

Extras >> options >> saving >>> usually if not defined otherwise (whats senseful) into the systems temporary or users temporary
