PI 12 Save As does not work

This fix was recently posted in a PI thread of the same name. It helped at least 2 users

This fix was provided by a user. Apparently, you'll get this problem if you installed Microsoft's Tweak UI program and set the "Remember previously-used filenames" option from the "Common Dialogs". To fix this, please take note of the outlined procedure to edit a particular registry value:


1. Click "Start -> Run", type "regedit" on the command box then click "Ok" to open the Registry Editor.

2. Go to:
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\comdlg32\NoFileMru"

3. Change the DWORD value from "1" to "0".

4. Close the Registry Editor, restart PhotoImpact and you should be good to go.


Please try if you can't use Save As.

Geh mal auf C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\<Benutzername>\Anwendungsdaten\Ulead Systems\Ulead PhotoImpact\
und lösche den Ordner 12.

Danach mach eine Reparaturinstallation, und schau mal was PI dann sagt.

also das ging schonmal nicht =(

hm dann lass ich das erstmal, kann mir denn jemand sagen ob es zur SE version von PI 11 addon´s gibt? ich hab mal nen update gemacht für PI 12 und jetzt hab nicht mal mehr photorahmen bzw schriften für de SE version von PI 11

Eine SE-Version kannst Du nicht aufrüsten...
(Das ist ja der Sinn der Sache, die wollen, daß man sich eine Vollversion kauft ;-))

hab mal bisschen rumprobiert und die FIO datei i aus den (FIO)ordner genommen und in den PI 12 Ordner kopiert, jetzt läuft es einwandfrei aber noch mal vielen dank für eure bemühungen
